“New Moon” Preview

I have to say, I was a little scared. I really thought that this preview was going to disappoint, but it didn't. Of course I've watched it at least fifty times since it came out. My sister and I sat on our bed and pressed refresh on the MySpace page until it showed the clip. It was awesome! I have a lot of expectations for this film because of the new director. As much as everyone said the first movie stayed true to the book, it just didn’t. I’m kinda sick of hearing that. The preview for “New Moon” was just ...

“New Moon” Panel at San Diego’s Comic-Con!

I am happy to announce that I shall be attending this July's Comic-Con in San Diego California. There is a special reason I am going, which you have probably guessed because of the pictures and title of this blog. The New Moon panel will be there. Which, for those non-Twilight fans out there, means that all the stars of the Twilight movies will be there. Which means that we get to chill with the actors that have transformed our favorite Twilight characters into flesh and blood. I'm really excited about this and hope to see you there. It'll be fun; you ...

A Clip of Heath Ledger’s Last Performance

From the first moment we heard of Heath's death we mourned the lost of a very special actor. Even though “The Dark Knight” was his last completed film, we still have his very last performance to look forward too. Heath Ledger was half way done with the filming of “The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus”, also staring Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell.  The way that Health's character was written makes it possible to still include Health in the film and to actually finish creating the movie. Very little is known about the movie, but it is to be released this year.   Here ...

My 20th at Disneyland

After four years of being deprived of Disneyland I have gone back and I am now hooked. I thought I’d share with you my birthday-I am human and yes I do enjoy fun!   I arrived at my best friends Shannon’s apartment located near UCI (where she is majoring in dance). I got there Wednesday night while she was in class and made her a cake for her birthday which is a week after mine. I decorated her room and popped out of her bathroom to surprise her with it all. It was great. The next morning (May 14th) she, Emily (a friend) ...

Rejecting the President on the Grounds of Protecting Life

Why is abortion a political issue of right or left, when Abortion is an issue of right or wrong?   It is because the left has taken this issue into their arms like a dying child on the street and used this issue to win hearts. They’ve fought to win women and men’s hearts by throwing ‘choice’ in the faces of American citizens. They’ve used the constant rant that abortion is a woman’s right to choose. They’ve said that abortion terminates a pregnancy and the termination is that of a mass of cells-not the life of a baby. They’ve said they want ...

Fiction VS. Reality

I love to read fiction. I own a little under a thousand books that I have paid for on my own. Most of those books are located in my closet, in draws, in boxes, on shelves and in the back of my car. I always carry a book with me-a tip I learned from Stephen King. You can read a book when you’re waiting for a movie to start, waiting for your kids to get out of school, on a plane, on a work break, and right before bed. There is no doubt that fiction draws us into a world ...

“Face of Betrayal” There’s a New Thriller on the Block

Lis Wiehl is a woman who graduated Harvard Law and became a federal prosecutor. She is now a legal analyst and well known for her appearances on the Fox News Channel. I, being the avid Fox News watcher I am, know Lis Wiehl from her appearances on Bill O’Reilly. I’m very excited to announce that she is now the author of the fiction thriller “Face of Betrayal,” co-written by April Henry. The book is now 34 on the New York Times Best Seller Fiction List, which is a great way to start off the release of a book. The book is surrounded ...
